What is a billable space?
A billable space is an active-account or mixed-use parking space where you manage access and enforce violations. Guest-only spaces and spaces already physically controlled, such as a resident's private garage, are not billable.
What is a site?
A site in Parq is a unique location or property that you manage. It could be a parking garage, a community, a business, or any other place where you want to enforce parking rules. Each site has its own unique code, permit rules, enforcement settings, and team access, all managed from one dashboard.
Do I need to sign a long-term contract?
No. Every Parq plan is month-to-month with no long-term commitment required. If you'd prefer to save, you can choose annual billing and get 2 months free.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new account starts with a 30-day free trial. No credit card is required to get started. Payment is required to continue after the trial. You will be prompted to add a credit card when your site is set up.
I manage more than one site, can I use Parq for all of them?
Absolutely. You can manage multiple sites (properties, commmunities, garages, etc) from a single Parq account. Each site gets its own unique code, permit rules, enforcement settings, and team access, all managed from one dashboard.
How do guests start a parking session?
They visit parqhere.com, enter the site code shown on their parking sign or notice, and can view and pay online by credit or debit card. No app download or account creation is required. You can also configure a custom domain and point people to that.
Can I customize the rules for each site?
Yes. Each site has its own configurable permit types, guest parking rules, violation categories, fine amounts, and team member access. You can run different policies at every site from the same account.
What is the revenue share and how does it work?
The revenue split is Parq's fee on parking revenue collected through the platform. It's separate from your monthly subscription. The split you pay depends on the payout model you choose for each site. Parq managed with manual payouts is a 40% split, Parq managed with direct payouts is 30%, and self managed with direct payouts is 20%. The split is automatically deducted from each transaction so there are no invoices to manage.
What's the difference between "Parq managed" and "self managed"?

With Parq managed, Parq is the merchant of record. We process payments, handle disputes, chargebacks, and refunds. You receive your share of revenue either as a monthly ACH payout or directly to your Stripe account per transaction, depending on the option you choose.

With self managed, your business is the merchant of record. Revenue flows directly into your Stripe account and Parq's 20% platform share is deducted automatically. You are responsible for managing your own disputes, refunds, and payment-related tax reporting. This option gives you the most control and the lowest split.

Can I choose a different payout option for each site?
Yes. Payout models are configured per site, so you can mix and match across your portfolio. For example, you might use Parq managed with direct payouts for a community HOA and self managed for a commercial lot where you already have a Stripe account and want full control.
